Samson Senkaaba a.k.a Xenson, Designer/Artist

Ssenkaaba Samson a.k.a Xenson, is a Ugandan young multi-talented creator with extraordinary imagination and unfound creativity greatly influenced by the grandeur of African arts, African cultures, vitality of African dance and Hip-Hop as a free expressive art form. He is at the vanguard of a youthful art renaissance that refuses to be pigeonholed into a singular artistic expression.

Whether hand painting clothes for his Art for Wear fashion label “XENSON”, piercing live graffiti performances and back drops, co-directing music videos and Hip-Hop shows or reciting his poetry, Ssenkaaba lives up to his motto, “creativity is limitless”.

His fashion designs, art and craftsmanship have made him a world renowned fashion designer/artist, showcasing his work in Germany, Paris, Netherlands, Beijing, Brazil, Kenya, Niger, South Africa, Tanzania and other parts of the world. Probably the greatest aspect of his work are the couture fashion and handbags made from recycled materials (i.e. traditional bark-cloth from Buganda tribe, banana fibers, recycled magazine paper beads and car-tires) made with the help of rural Ugandan women whom he is able to train when he is at home. His paintings captivity the sensuality of a woman who show passion in their family life as well as their work environment.


Samson is far from ordinary. He is truly a master of talents!
